Saving

Changes save to the server automatically. The .cctv download is a portable backup you can keep or hand to someone else.

Export

PDF gives an A3 sheet per floor plus a camera schedule. PNG always exports a single floor.

Camera model

Built-in models cannot be changed. Saving creates your own copy.

Identity

Imaging

Horizontal resolution is what drives DORI. Vertical is used for the aspect ratio and, later, the tilted floor footprint.

Optics

Sensor formats are nominal — the millimetre figure is what the maths uses, so take it from the datasheet if it matters.
Set wide and tele to the same value for a fixed lens. When they differ, every placed camera gets its own zoom slider.

DORI

Leave a level at 0 to compute that one instead. Vendors quote these at the wide end of the lens.

Night

Daylight DORI means nothing beyond the IR reach at night — often the real limit on a perimeter camera.
